Thank you for purchasing Manuscriptor. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Digital Product – No Automatic Refunds

Manuscriptor is a digital desktop software delivered immediately after purchase via a license key or digital entitlement. Because of the nature of digital goods, all sales are final and we do not offer automatic refunds once a license has been issued.

2. Free Version Available Before Purchase

To ensure suitability, Manuscriptor offers a free version that allows users to fully test the application on their system before purchasing the Pro license.

We strongly encourage all users to:

  • Download and test the free version.
  • Confirm compatibility with their device and workflow.

The Pro license only unlocks additional features and does not alter the core functionality of the software.

3. Compatibility Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that:

  • Their operating system is supported.
  • Their hardware meets the minimum requirements.
  • The free version functions correctly on their machine.

Purchases made without testing the free version are done at the customer’s own risk.

4. Exceptional Refund Cases

In rare cases, a refund may be considered at our sole discretion if:

  • The Pro license cannot be activated due to a verified technical fault.
  • The issue is reproducible and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and include:

  • Proof of purchase.
  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • System information (OS version, error logs if applicable).

Approval of refunds is not guaranteed.

5. Refund Processing

All payments are processed through Paddle, our authorized payment provider. If a refund is approved, it will be issued through Paddle using the original payment method.

Once a refund is processed:

  • The Pro license will be deactivated.
  • Continued use of Pro features is prohibited.

6. No Refunds for Change of Mind

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Lack of use.
  • Accidental purchase.
  • Failure to read product descriptions or system requirements.
